A rare find. Metal and marble bookend in the likeness of a clown or “Pierrot.” Designed by French sculptor, Max Le Verrier (1891-1973), a pioneer in the Parisian Art Deco movement. Dated to the 1930’s, this single bookend is so sculptural and in excellent condition. Black marble base.
