Rattan two-tier basket with handle. Gorgeous handpainted fruit, lemons and oranges. Two separate tiers/compartments for storage. Absolutely stunning craftsmanship. Dated to the early 20th century, China. Some separation on lid and loss to weave, as shown. According to our research, these were traditionally given to a bride on their wedding day, filled with gifts.
